Top WPM Average
The Top WPM Average is used to assess a racer's actual typing capability. It ensures that intentionally typing significantly below one's usual speed, whether for accuracy or other in-game benefits, does not provide an unfair advantage. The Top WPM Average comes in two flavors.
Lifetime Top WPM Average
The Lifetime Top WPM Average is calculated from a racer's 30 fastest speeds of all time. It determines their duel tier (A, B, or C) .
Active Top WPM Average
Update: The Active Top WPM average is going to be removed in Season 8. This article will soon be edited to reflect the new reality.
The Active Top WPM Average is calculated from a racer's 30 fastest speeds over the last 30 days. It determines their sandbagging threshold and typing segment length. If a racer lets their Active Top WPM expire, their Lifetime Top WPM Average is used instead.
