Being in a world of fast food and red 40, we need to stay away from those junk foods. The most important thing in your life is being healthy and staying healthy. According to the American Heart and Stroke Association, you should eat 4-6 servings of fruit and vegetables (combined) in one day. This can be easily reached as one serving of vegetables looks like a cup of lettuce and a serving of fruits looks like an apple the size of a baseball. If you do not have access to healthy foods or you are eating a little too much junk food, you can still create a healthy meal or cut down on what you are eating. Remember, your diet should be your #1 concern and it is the most important. Even if people eat healthy, they need exercise. Exercise/Physical activity does good things to your body. Exercise can lower risks of cardiovascular disease, lose you weight, keep your blood flow running, make your mood happier, and it even promotes better sleep. According to the CDC, children aged 6 to 17 need an average of 8 hours of physical activity each week and adults aged 18 to 64 need an average of 3 hours a week. Let's be healthy and stay healthy for our whole lives!
